Village of Eyeries and the Eyeries Parish Church The reason the buildings are so colorful is that in 1998 the BBC Northern Ireland produced a movie entitled "Falling For A Dancer" which was filmed in and around Eyeries. The movie company painted all the buildings grey to make it look like the period (1937) and when they were done they repainted the town in multi-colors. The movie includes a scene at the old Kilcatherine ruins and there are a couple of my cousins pictured in one scene.
