These rates are effective as of May 1, 2007. They are based on a $4.50/gallon fuel cost basis and do not include the monthly fuel surcharge.
Each month the club treasurer will check the fuel cost per gallon at our home base FBO. When their price per gallon for 100LL aviation fuel, including tax, is more than the club’s $4.50/gallon fuel cost basis, a fuel surcharge will be issued with the current monthly bill.
The monthly fuel surcharge will be calculated for each club airplane you fly based on the FBO's per gallon rate above $4.50 times the average gallon per hour usage (as indicated in the pilot’s operating handbook at 75% power cruise for that aircraft) times the number of hours flown.
Any off-field fuel cost per gallon in excess of the current per gallon price at our home base FBO will not be allowed as a full fuel credit. It will be reimbursed at the current per gallon price at our home base FBO. You will be credited for any off-field fuel cost per gallon that is less than that of our home base FBO.
The hourly rate for the C152 is charged by the Hobbs hour meter. The hourly rates on all other club aircraft are charged by the Tach hour meter.
Paying the monthly dues rate for a particular aircraft also allows access to fly any aircraft in a lower dues category (after the required checkout by a CFI).
Operation of Flying Country Club aircraft is restricted to only those who own stock, have signed a membership agreement, and whose account is in "current" status.
All flight charges, fees and dues payments are considered past due after the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following the billing period. The billing period is from the first day to the last day of every calendar month. Late payments will be assessed a late fee.
Members wishing to go to inactive (no dues) status must give written notice to the Flying Country Club Board sixty (60) days prior to going inactive to avoid paying dues as per the membership agreement.
