The one and Only
"Lyle Electric"
This guitar was made in the mid seventy's by a friend
of mine, who has since gone home to be with the Lord. His name was Lyle
Wheeler, and he was a true craftsman.
In 1981, my son Talbot, knocked my '63 firebird
off of the guitar stand, shattering the head stock. Lyle made a wooden
form, took all the splinters, and glued the shattered head
back together.
I believe Lyle made three guitars,
this electric and two acoustic guitars.
My electric is the only surviving guitar.
Lyle did wierd things with the heads of the guitars
he made.
The acoustic guitars were in the shape of a big W
(for Wheeler). This electric has a point on the head, that kind of curles
off the end.
This guitar has (2) circa 70's generic pick-ups and
electronics and has a Dan Electro sound.
To truly appreciate the guitar
you have to see, hold and play it.
