To best utilize the services that I offer consider the following:

 1) Project should be atomic in nature: (for example)

      a) PCB design, assembly and test of prototype.

      b) CNC Lathe / Mill prototype.

      c) Component selection or evaluation.

      d) Sensor / FPGA / Microcontroller software, hardware design or feasibility analysis.

      e) Preparation of technical manuals or application notes.

      f) For projects that require significant back and forth communications, I require that you

          reserve un-moveable activity blocks for communications, OR, be located within 100 miles

          of Chicago IL.

 2) Does your team simply need extra manpower on a temporary basis?

3) Should your project be of such a nature as to require a licensed professional engineer I will

    retain one for design oversight of your project. Please note that I am not licensed in any state

   as a professional engineer. I only warrant that I possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical

   Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters Degree in  Electrical Engineering from the

   University of Vermont.

 4) Billing is simple. Time + Materials. (General Terms Below)

      a) A materials account will be created at the beginning of a project for me to draw upon.

           - The materials account may be structured as appropriate for the intended project.

      b) Time is compensated on achievement of mutually agreed upon progress checkpoints.

      c) Projects may be terminated or put on hold with 2 day notice. Notice of termination or hold

        constitutes a successfully achieved mutually agreed upon progress checkpoint.
