Lark and Bill are littermates...and Lark was the pick of the litter! It wasn't until a week after her arrival at our house that Bill appeared...Bob's pick of the litter. Of the two pups Lark was by far the most shy...difficult to socialize to people and other dogs. So her education began with obedience classes and field work with Bob. Her agility career began with a beginning class but it was clear that she didn't find it fun or exciting...so she slipped into retirement long before she ever set paw into an agility arena.

However, Marcia felt that perhaps she might be the perfect UKC competitor. UKC emphasizes safety and fun with your dog and speed is secondary. She was perfect! Being a naturally cautious dog her entries on and off obstacles were straight and correct, she found learning the AGII obstacles easy...and her titles came quickly with high scores. She is currently working on the last 3 legs of her UACHX title. She doesn't attend many trials...but when she does she usually succeeds!
