UACHX UCDX Timberlane's Brass Band Bill CD MX AXJ CGC

Bill and his sister Lark came to live with us in August of 1995 as 9 week old balls of energy and enthusiasm. Their father was our dog, Timberlane's Field Hawk, a.k.a. "Newt" and their dam was a lovely little liver and white bitch sired by Brass Handle... a wonderful field champion owned by Gene and Neveta Salmons (Nevene Kennels).

Bill's picture Our hope was to produce honest, well-behaved pups with just enough drive and edge to be fine in the field and be great companions for us. As Bill matured he started his education in field work with Bob and obedience with Marcia. Before Bill turned a year he had completed his NAVHDA Natural Ability title with a Prize III under Bob's training and supervision. He completed his AKC CD, UKC CD, and UKC CDX by the age of 2. For Bill obedience was a job.... so we began a beginners class in agility. Within 9 months he was ready for competition. Bill's picture

He competed with Marcia all over the midwest and finished his AKC MX in July of 2002 at the CarDunAl trial in Rockford, Illlinois. He is now in retirement, ready to let the younger dog, Breeze, continue in agility.

Bill thru the tire Even though he has retired from competition his life is full. He has become a certified therapy dog and spends his Thursday afternoons at Trinity West on the rehab floor. He loves visiting and helping the patients and they love having Bill visit. It is wonderful to see how happy he makes the patients and how much Bill enjoys his hours in the hospital helping people forget about their pain and fear, even for just a few hours.
